On FPF #60, I tackle current events in the past week. Trump continues to be hawkish towards Assad. Trump threatened to bomb Syria if chemical weapons are used. On North Korea, Trump was presented with attack plans by McMaster. Trump is also continuing the same old US policy in Afghanistan. I also update NATO, Qatar, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
On FPF #59, I give my take on the Putin/Stone interviews. The four hours of interviews covered several important subjects. Stone questions Putin on his early life to recent geopolitical events. The interviews shed light on the world from a Russia perspective.
On FPF #58, I look at two articles debunking Syrian lies. One article is by Seymour Hersh and looks at the April 4th chemical attack in Syria. Hersh proves the Assad did not gas his people. The other article is by Gareth Porter. Porter shows the US armed the Jihadist Syrian Rebels. I also update Yemen, Qatar, Russia, Iraq, and Pakistan.

Will Porter return to Foreign Policy Focus to update the wars in Afghanistan and Syria. Will discuss his recent articles on events in Afghanistan. Will's articles are on the US looking to send an additional 4,000 troops to Afghanistan and General Mattis admitting the US is not winning in Afghanistan. Will also explains the crazy events in Syria.
Will Porter is a journalist and commentator with a focus on U.S. foreign policy and Mid East affairs.
He is a staff writer for the Daily Sheeple, and some of his freelance work can be found at the Libertarian Institute and Antiwar.com.
On FPF #56, I discuss Congress taking the first steps towards passing a new AUMF. The new AUMF will allow the president to wage war across the globe. The bill will go to the Senate Foreign Relation Committee tomorrow. I also update Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan, Mosul, and North Korea.
On FPF #55, I look at developing stories in Syria and Afghanistan. In Syria, the US shoot down a Syrian plane. Russia has responded by saying all US planes West of the Euphrates are now targets. In Afghanistan, the US looks to add more troops to the longest war in US history. I also give updates on Cuba, Iraq, UK, North Korea, and Turkey.
On FPF #54, I look at how a recent shooting exposes Congress. After the shooting of Steve Scalise, members of Congress rushed to get in front of the cameras to tell Americans how much they care about human life. The day before the shooting, 53 members of the Senate voted to continue to support Saudi Arabia's slaughter of the people of Yemen. Those 53 members of Congress exposed themselves as hypocrites who only care about human life when it benefits their political ambitions. I also update Philippines, Syria, Somalia, Yemen, Libya, and Iraq.
On FPF #53, I look at the war machine's propaganda. The propaganda creates a false narrative about US wars overseas. The lies that are told by the media and government about war allow US support for war to continue. The war harms the people of the US and the Middle East, while enriching and empowering wealthy elites. By knowing how to identify the propaganda you can avoid believing it.
On FPF #52, I discuss Trump's latest pledge to NATO. Trump confirmed that the US would uphold Article 5 of the NATO agreement. Article 5 requires the US to come to the defense of any NATO country that is attacked. Trump's confirmation of Article 5 is Trump biggest step from his campaign statement that NATO is obsolete. I also update Qatar, Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia, Iraq, and Syria.
FPF #51, I look at the Qatar situation. Saudi's split with Qatar has caused splits in the and the GCC and Sunni Arab states. Qatar seems to be open to moving closer to Iran, while Turkey splits from Saudi Arabia to support Qatar. Trump first took credit for the Qatar/Saudi split. After the split had become a geopolitical nightmare, Trump offered to help find peace between the two nations. Trump seems clueless on how Middle East affairs operate. I also look at Trump's smart and hypocritical message to Iran. I update Iraq, Somalia, Ukraine, and Yemen.
Foreign Policy Focus Episode #50 is here!! On FPF #50, I talk about several current events in foreign policy. One story is a terror attack in Iran. I look at the possibility of Western sympathy for Iran. I break down the Qatar/Saudi Arabia split. I look at the conflicts in Iraq and Syria. I also give updates on Ivory Coast, Libya, and the Philippines.
On FPF #49, Will Porter returns to the show to give updates on Iraq and Syria. In Mosul, the killing of civilians continues and Will write on it in, HUNDREDS OF CIVILIANS DEAD IN MOSUL AIRSTRIKE. In Syria, US policy has us fighting allies and Will explains it in his article, American Foreign Policy is a Trainwreck.

On FPF #48, I discuss the inconsistency of mainstream media coverage of international events. The media has associated Trump with governments that support terrorism for pulling out of the Paris climate agreement. After ignoring Obama's support of Saudi Arabia for years. The media was also very critical of Assad's war in Aleppo, while the media fails to report any of the US government's crimes in Mosul. These differences in coverage led Americans to have a distorted view on foreign policy.
